Ronald Wayne Collier, 79 years young, born April 13, 1941, passed from this life and into the arms of his loving Lord and Savior on March 14, 2021. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Avon Collier; his parents, Henry "Dink" and Mildred Collier; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert A. Collier, Cynthia Collier, and Russell L. Collier.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha "Dicey" Collier; two sons, Daniel A. (Melissa) Collier and Douglas L. Collier; four grandchildren, Chloe, Zoe, Jonah, and Shanley; two brothers, Calvin Clinton (Kathi) Collier and Carlton Glen (Denise) Collier; a sister-in-law, Sabra Collier; many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces, other relatives, and a great many friends.
He will be greatly missed by all, including his church family at Grace Bible Church of Mobile. Ronnie was employed by Schambeau's for 45 years and then Sea Pearl for another 15 years.
Visitation to be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Oddfellows Hall at Oddfellows Cemetery. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Sid Phillips officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service in Oddfellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Brian Collier, Timothy Collier, Jason Collier, Benjamin Bates, Chuck Peyregne, and Andrew Bates. Honorary pallbearers are Rusty Collier and Clint Collier.
