Ronald Monroe Faircloth went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 68. Ronnie was born February 27, 1951 at Monroe County Hospital to William Merrill Faircloth Sr. (deceased) and Jewell Woodham Faircloth, 95 years of age. Ronnie has faithfully served as Mrs. Faircloth’s caregiver for more than twelve years. Ronnie had three brothers; Bill (Becky), Don (Tracey), and Joel (Janet). He has seven nieces and nephews, and multiple great nieces and nephews.
Ronnie had an extended illness due to pulmonary hypertension with many complications caused by it. Ronnie had confessed faith in Jesus about 5 years ago and gave evidence of the living Christ at work in his heart.
Ronnie was a multi letterman at Davidson High School and went to work for the FBI soon after graduation. Later he was co-owner of a moving company, started out with QMS in its infancy, and then retired from Standard Coffee Company to care for his father and then his mother.
There will be a family celebration of his life on the Eastern Shore next weekend.
