Rustica Rose Openia Sacris, a native of Bohol, Philippines and current resident of Mobile, AL died Wednesday, August 13, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doroteo Openia, Sr. and Diosdada Cabalda Openia and her brothers, Narciso Openia and Doroteo Openia, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Noel Sacris her daughters, Rosemary Rishi Mittal and Sarah Sacris her sisters, Linda Gonzales and Gliceria Lagaras and her brother, Evaquito Openia, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama 36619 Friday, August 15, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Saturday, August 16, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM and at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 4156 Burma Road, Mobile, AL 36695 Monday, August 18, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. James Cink, will be celebrated at St. Dominic Catholic Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
