Ida Ruth Boa Miles, a native of Dawson Springs, KY and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the age of 98. She was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, working crossword puzzles, playing along with contestants of Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and spending quality time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Gordon Boa and Vera Mignon Weaver Boa; her husband, EJ Miles; a grandson, Charles Dewey Miller, III; three brothers, John, Alan and Andrew Boa; and her sister, Frances Boa Sheets. Her survivors include two sons, Charles Dewey (Mary Alice) Miller, Jr. and Ronald Boa Miller, Sr.; seven grandchildren, David Miller, Renee (David) Reese, Lori Michelle Rogers, Chris Miller, Ronald Boa (Terri) Miller, Jr., Rachel Ann McGriff and Andrew Gordon Miller; thirteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 at 12 Noon from St. Luke's Episcopal Church on Azalea Road. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
