Sadie Hutto

Sadie Mae Parnell Hutto, born April 6, 1935 to the late Grover C. Parnell and Mary Beck Parnell, went home to be with the Lord at the age of 86 on September 6, 2021.

She was a longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama and member of Magnolia Springs Baptist Church, where she devoted many years to working in the nursery and school. She was loved by many and will be remembered as a dedicated and loving friend, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and church member.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney "Jabo" Hutto, her brothers, Curtis Parnell, Gaines Parnell, Jack Parnell and Benjamin "Bennie" Parnell; her sisters, Ruth Smith, Margaret Thompson and Elizabeth Parten; and son in law, Clint Jackson.

She is survived by her brother, Allen Parnell, sister, Ruby Webb, and sister-in-law, Rosa Parnell; four children Brenda Jackson, Henry (Gloria) Hutto, Mark (Sylvia) Hutto, and Karen (Ricky) Johnston; seven grandchildren Andrew Hutto, Benjamin Jackson, Matthew (Sydney) Jackson, Ryne Johnston, Gracie Hutto, Sydney Johnston, and Riley Hutto; 4 great-grandchildren Braylen, Emma, Blakely, and Tucker Jackson, many devoted nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Magnolia Springs Baptist Church in Theodore. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Service will be held at 12:00 PM. Interment will be held immediately following the service at the Magnolia Springs Baptist Church cemetery.
