Sam Padgett, a dedicated American patriot and U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, passed away peacefully in his home in Moss Point the morning of August 8, 2020. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mittie Padgett, his wife
Doris Opal Padgett, and his daughter Debbie Padgett. He is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and the loyal friends he made on the street of Windrow Place. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in the form of donations to your closest VA Hospital or donation site, or the American Legion. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 2pm in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
