Sarah Charlene Gibson Long, a native of Choctaw County, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie William Gibson and Dora Sue Kelly Gibson; her husband, Wilbur Ray Long; her son, Wilbur A. Long; her sister, Marie Gibson and her brother, Tommy Gibson. Her survivors include her children, Mike Long, Tim Long and Sarah Abrams; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her siblings, Bertha Cox, C.W. Gibson, Ray Gibson, Rodney Gibson and Grover Gibson; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Graveside services and interment will follow at 2:00 PM in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
