Sarah Taylor Mason, a native of Choctaw County, Alabama, and a resident of Mobile, Alabama for the last fifty-eight years, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the age of seventy-five. She was a longtime member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of fifty-three years, Roland Mason; daughters Pam Kibby (Lesley) and Terri Mason; son Chad Mason; granddaughter Hannah Kibby; sister Irene Donald (W.L.); sister-in-law Marion Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family would like to thank special friends Rita Harper and Marie Waller for the countless hours of love and support they have shown Sarah in the last several years. The family would also like to thank Alabama Hospice Care and the numerous friends who have shown kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cottage Hill Baptist Church's Building Fund. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at noon from the Chapel. Interment services in Mobile Memorial Gardens will immediately follow the service.
