Sarah Carol Watson
May 12th, 1932 - February 13th, 2021

Carol Watson, 88, of Mobile, Alabama passed away peacefully on February 13th, 2021 with family by her side.
She was known by family as sister, Sara Carol, and MawMaw. She was born in Reform, Alabama on May 12th, 1932. She later made Mobile her permanent home, where she raised her four children. She worked for Scott Paper Company for 29 years, where she made many life-long friends; Virginia Bray being one that became family.
Carol was a loving wife, mother, sister, MawMaw, and friend. She loved her family, church, and her friends. She was full of life, and she loved life. She was an active member of the Port City Church of Christ until her health started to decline. She loved Brother Bruce, and she always looked for him to greet her. She got so much joy from the children, especially when they would sing before being dismissed for Sunday school. That’s where she fell in love with Lilly ( the little dancer, ha!). She loved the hugs the most. Port City, you will never know how much she loved all of you!
Carol was always herself, and you always knew where she stood on things. Those that knew her knew that they had a friend for life- a friend that would go out of her way to help you and take care of you. Roxanne Lilly, her second daughter, inherited her mother’s compassion
Carol was always the life of the party. You always knew when she was up to something by her mischievous grin on her face, along with a peace sign. She always kept everyone laughing, never knowing what she was going to say or do!
Carol was preceded in death by Donald Watson (her husband of 29 years), Bunyan Langdon (Father), Effie Langdon (mother), Coleman “Buck” Sheffield, Sr. (father of her four children), and Hartzel, Lilly (son-in-law); sister in law, Francis Langdon; brother, William "Billy" Langdon; brother in law, Bob Ramey.
Carol is survived by her children: Vicki (Timmy) Welch, Roxanne Lilly, Lynette (Danny) Kinard, Buck Sheffeild, Jr & Chad LaChance, Gene (Shelly) Watson. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Raina Livingston, Timothy (Taylor) Welch, Ryan Schumann, Victoria Schumann & fiance Ross Gaston, Tate Watson, Katheren Watson, Nicholas Watson, and Matthew Watson. She is survived by her great grandchildren: Michael (Hannah) Flores, Chase Flores & fiance Leah Walker, Connor (Jasmine Crutchfield) Livingston, Lily Welch, William Gaston, Riley Kinard, Andrew Kinard, Xander Howell, Jagger Lee. Lastly, she is survived by her great grandchild: Ryleigh Flores; sister, Peggy Ramey; brothers, Jerry (Sandra) Langdon, Fred (Carolyn) Langdon.
The Family would like to thank their caretakers, Debra Huff and Geneva Pugh, for their love and care they gave their mother. They became family.
