Scott Lee Carmack passed away after a battle with cancer in Mobile, AL, on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Scott was known as a man who loved his family, his boat, deep-sea fishing and deeply loved his Lord. His favorite thing to do was to take his boys fishing or spend the day on the water with his wife. Everything he did was for the benefit and happiness of his family and would do anything he could to ensure they had everything they needed. His wife was his soulmate and the love of his life. He felt his greatest accomplishment and joy was his children. He was a kind and giving man who left everyone he knew with a warm and grateful heart. He loved his family dearly.
Scott was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 19, 1967. He attended the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL and received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Scott worked for C Spire, a company and co-workers that he grew to love dearly. His work filled him with pride and purpose that amazed him and motivated those around him. Everyone who had the honor of working with him throughout his time at C Spire touched him deeply.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Daniel Carmack.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Carol Carmack, sons Christopher Warren Carmack (Ashley) of DeRidder, LA and Ryan Lee Carmack, stepdaughters, Alixandria Danielle McCauley and Ashley Brooke McCauley, mother Dorothy L. Fields, sister Penny Denice Jordan (Steve), granddaughter, Olivia Grace McCauley, niece Stephanie Stephenson and many extended family members. Scott is deeply loved by his family and friends.
Arrangements are at Fountain of Life Church, 1277 Jubilee Drive in Saraland, AL, with a public visitation at 12 p.m. and services at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 29, 2020. He will be interred at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
