Serena Scott Pipkins

Serena (Bug) Pipkins, 93, passed away Thursday morning May 11, 2017. She was a lifetime resident of Theodore and a member of Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Willie M. Pipkins. She is also preceded in death by her parents Earl and Lessie Scott and sisters Gloria Stroecker and Ruby Brewer. She is survived by her children Janice Jeske, Donald M. Pipkins (Kathy), Bill Pipkins (Becky), Debbie Harkins (Frank) and Rick Pipkins along with 17 grandchildren and numinous great, great-great grandchildren nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her siblings Betty MacKendree, Doris Mayfield (Monroe), Bill Scott, Ronnie Scott (Jackie) and Geanne Skinner (Jack). She will always be remembered as the most giving and selfless mother and grandmother. Mother and her Sunday lunches will be missed. Funeral services will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, May 13, 2017. Visitation starts at 12 noon. Burial in Mobile Memorial gardens.
