Sharon Huggins

Sharon Lynn Ratliff Huggins, a native of Mobile Al. was called home on Sunday, April 25, 2021, The Feast Day of St Mark. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Huggins was proceeded in death by her father Sturgill "Sturge" F. Ratliff Jr, mother Leon "Lee" Fayette Brooks Ratliff, granddaughter Mattix Catherine Brown, and friend and spiritual director Rev "Bobby" Rimes SJ Springhill College.

She was survived by her loving husband of 34 years Lester G. Huggins, her precious sons Robert Christopher "Chris" Brown (Kenley) and John "Travis" Huggins both of Mobile Al. Grandchildren Mason and Marley Brown. Sister Suzanne Ratliff Fuller (Mac) and niece Meredith Fuller of Colombia S.C. and many other family members and loved ones.

Sharon was a longtime parishioner at St. Dominic Catholic Church. She found great joy and love in her Catholic faith and loved to share it with others! Both her personal and professional (RN) life was about service to others using every opportunity to bring compassion, comfort and hope and considered it an honor in doing so. The beautiful love she had in her heart will never leave us.

Visitation will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27, 2021, from 5:00-8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, April 30, 2021, at St. Dominic Catholic Church. Internment will be at 2:00 pm at Choctaw Corner Cemetery in Thomasville, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Spring Hill College Student Ministry Program.
