Sharon Rouse

January 9, 1949 — August 16, 2021

In loving memory of an extraordinary mother, grandmother, and wife. Sharon Lynn Rouse left this Earth Monday, August 16 2021. Apparently, God needed a little help getting heaven in order and He picked the perfect helper.

She was proceeded in death by her Aunt Odette Singletary and Uncle Roy Singletary.

Survived by her husband, Curtis Rouse. who she was married to for fifty years; her wonderful children, Tiffany Huggins, Courtney Rouse-Heinz and Whitney Rouse; her son-in-laws, Nevin Huggins and Thomas Heinz; as well as her precious grandchildren, Jaidyn Huggins, Preston Huggins, Addyson Huggins, Christian Huggins, Riley Heinz, and Mason Adams; her sisters, Barbara Whitten and Jackie Rosener.

Sharon never held back her opinions and had a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even when it was something you did not want to hear. With that said, she was genuine to a fault, and yet she sugarcoated nothing. If you were lucky enough to be included in her circle, you were given unconditional love. Sharon taught her children and grandchildren to love their country, work hard, to be generous, and to love God and each other. Sharon had a wicked sense of humor, an unwavering dedication to her family, and made every holiday special. Those who loved her will devastatingly miss her.

Friends wishing to honor Sharon are invited to make a donation in her name to Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama www.habitatswalabama.org
