Sharon Woody

Sharon Woody, 45, passed away near her home in Mobile, AL on June 2, 2022. Sharon was born August 26th, 1976, in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Eisenhower High and obtained a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from University of South Alabama.

After graduation, she began working at Thomas Hospital and most recently worked at Saads Healthcare, as an occupational therapist. She was deeply valued by her colleagues and her patients.

Sharon loved being involved in her children's school activities and sports. She loved scrapbooking all the happy memories she created with her husband, children, family, and friends. She was an active church member at Christ United Methodist Church, where she met and married her husband, Michael. They recently celebrated their 22nd anniversary.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Richard Reisel, and her maternal grandparents, George and Kay Law.

She is survived by husband, Michael Woody, and their children Matthew (20), Jonathan (15), and Emily (12); her parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Reisel of Daphne, AL; her brother Mike Reisel (Mindy) of Hartland, WI; her grandmother, Doris Reisel of Milwaukee, WI.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Christ United Methodist Church, in Mobile AL. A visitation will be held at 10:00 AM with services at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
