Shelby Miller

Shelby Jean Miller, a native of Union Springs, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, December 28 at the age of 80. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
She was a long-time dental hygienist of 45 years for Dr. Charles B. Easley; a member of First Baptist Tillman's Corner and a devoted member of the Mobile Red Hats Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Lee Miller; her parents, Otis Mann and Myra Mann; her sister, Maxine Mann Hall; and a grandson, Ryan Zafiris.
Her survivors include her daughter, Kelly Miller (Adam) Gusmus; her son, Joseph Brent (Lisa) Miller; 4 grandchildren, Matthew and William Miller, Mallory Martin (Joey) and Wesley Gusmus; and three great-grandchildren, Emilee Lawler, Harper, and Cannon Martin.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 2, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
