Sheree Evans

Sheree "Darlene" Evans (Maw-Maw), 67, passed away peacefully with her family surrounding her, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Everett Alford, and sister Barbara Anne Dreibelbis. She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Marvin Evans; one son, John Evans (Meredith); two daughters, Amanda Evans (Jack) and Rebecca Evans (Peyton); grandchildren, Madison Sellers, Haliey Coshatt, Zachary Coshatt, Hunter Evans, and Summer Evans; one great grandchild, Jonathan Ross Freeman; three brothers David Alford, Earl Alford (Bonnie), Mark Alford (Melanie), and countless other loving friends and family.

Darlene loved to hunt, fish, cook, sew, and spend time with her family. She was deeply committed to her family and was completely selfless when it came to making sure that everyone she loved had everything they needed. She found the most joy in her grandchildren. She was always there for them cheering them on in anything they were doing. She always enjoyed being with them and spending time with them.

Funeral services are Saturday, June 3, 2023. Visitation will begin at 1:00. Chapel service will be at 2:00 at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6040 Three Notch Road, Mobile, Alabama, followed by a graveside service.
