Sherry Giles

Sherry Ann Giles, age 70, of Daphne, Alabama, passed away on October 3rd, 2024, in Mobile, Alabama.

Sherry was born on August 19th, 1954, in Springfield, Ohio, to Justin Gruen and Lois Charlene Currens. After high school, she attended college where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Sherry met her husband Jim and they worked together for several years at their business. Eventually she worked in the mortgage industry until she retired. Sherry was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her family and grandchildren with all of her heart.

Sherry is preceded in death by; her husband, James Herman Giles Jr.; her father, Justin Gruen; and her mother, Lois Charlene Gruen.

She is survived by; her daughter, Kimberly Giles (Chase Warner) Smith of Daphne, AL; her stepdaughters, Cindy (David) Howell of Richmond, VA, and Tammie Carroll of Bradenton, FL; and her brother, Greg (Kimberly) Gruen.

Graveside services for Sherry will be held on October 10th, 2024, at 12:30 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on October 10th, 2024 from 11 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
