Sherry Elizabeth Culver Jessop, a native of Montgomery, AL and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at the age of 59. Mrs. Jessop was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Benjamin Jessop. She is survived by her children, Emily Kristin Jessop and Zachary Steven (Morgan Giattina) Jessop; her mother, Barbara Lyon Athey; her father, Lewis Garry Culver; her brothers, George Larry (Jane) Culver, Garry Stephen (Edith) Culver, Victor Athey, Burt (Cristi) Athey, and Perry Leon (Chris) Athey, III; her sisters, Vicki Athey Wilson and Auora Athey McKay; special friends, Kimberly Smith and Wanda Cook; other relatives and friends. Funeral services, officiated by Brother Dell Murphy, will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 12:00 Noon from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
