Sherrye Willmann

Sherrye Leigh (Kanaly) Willmann, born on July 11, 1953, in Galveton, TX and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on December 25, 2019 at the age of 66. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jessie Kanaly of Mobile, AL and brother, John William “Boo” Kanaly of Gulf Shores, AL. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Leo Willmann of Mobile, AL, daughter and her husband Cherokee and Keith Carlson of The Woodlands, TX, stepson and his wife Robert and Tammaney Willmann and their children, Lillian and Kai Willmann of Westminster, CO, sister and her husband Jeanine and Randy Gresham, sister Vicki Kanaly as well as nephews, nieces, other relatives and many cherished friends. Sherrye was a devoted and loving wife, wonderful and caring mother, treasured Mamaw and loyal friend. Sherrye was employed by Mobile County Public Schools at Fonde Elementary for 25 years. She was also a devout Catholic. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 with visitation starting at 9:00 am at Holy Name of Jesus Church on Snow Road and a funeral mass at 10:00 am.
