Shiloe J. Wiegers, age 42, transitioned quickly to be with her grandparents at 7:45 a.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from injuries sustained in a two vehicle accident in rural Franklin County, Alabama. Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Shiloe was born November 19, 1978, in Bridgeport, Connecticut and moved south to Wilmer, Alabama with her mother, Debbie, when she was in elementary school. She resided in the Mobile, Alabama area until a few years ago when she reconnected with her biological son, Draven, and they moved to Town Creek, Alabama area where she met her fiancee, Marlon.
She is survived by her biological son, Draven Nelson; her mother, Debbie Wiegers Nelson; her step-father Duane Nelson Sr.; her brother, David Macdonald; two nieces, Madyson and Mallory Macdonald; and her fiancee, Marlon Blankenship.
She is preceded in death by grandparents, Ben "Opa" and Johanna "Oma" Wiegers.
Shiloe embraced life and loved the outdoors - going to the beach, fishing and even scuba diving. One of the things that touched her heart deeply and that she was very passionate about was the lives of the many special friends we know as the many many cats and dogs she took in and gave so much love to. It is because of this deep dedication and love for the well being of her 4 legged friends that her family ask that in lieu of flowers, donation be made to Mobile SPCA, 620 Zeigler Circle West, Mobile, AL 36608 – (251) 633-3531 or one of the many other wonderful organizations that is aimed at the well being of animals.
No one knows why the Lord takes some at what we think is an early age, but Shiloe's mom Debbie hopes Draven thinks like she does, that the Lord needed help taking care of all the blessed creatures.
A memorial service will be recorded and once available, can be viewed below.
