There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, the light remains.
Shirley Ann Culp of Mobile, AL passed peacefully on Monday, September 21st, 2020 at the age of 70.
Shirley began her journey on April 26th 1950 in Gallatin, TN. Her family then moved to Toulminville, AL where she graduated from Davidson High School in 1968. She then went on to become a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Shirley made a career at a local finance company as a CSR for over 20 years. To know her is to love her, she had a heart of gold and always saw the best in everyone. She has always been the greatest example of unconditional love and support ever given and loved beyond measure by everyone who knew her. Though her time here was much too short, it was full of love. The loss of Shirley is immeasurable but so is the love she left behind.
Shirley is survived by her two children, Brian and Traci Rogers. Her three grand children, Ashley Lolley (Jacob), Teena Rogers and Nicole Moore (Hunter). Three great grandchildren, Raina and Kaylyn Lolley and Waylon Carter. Her brothers Jerry Taylor (Jeanette), Charles Taylor (Sandy) and Robert Taylor (Diane) among several other family members and friends.
Shirley is proceeded in death by her father James Taylor, mother Gladys Taylor and late partner, Aubrey Culp.
Arrangements are as follows;
Monday, September 28th 2020 at Mobile Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 9:00am-10:00am followed by a graveside service.
