Stanley Bliss

Stanley Arthur Bliss (Stan), 80. Died January 23, 2021. Born July 18, 1940 in Chicago. IL. Beloved husband of the late Delores (Pierce) Bliss. He was the son of Stanley and Florence (nee Huebner) Bloczynski. In addition to his parents Stan was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in law Beverly and Richard Drada and sister Arlene Prock Arias. Stan is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Bonnie (Daniel) Lombardi of Verona, Wisconsin. Also survived by Brothers-In-Law Fred E. Pierce, Jr., R. Wayne (Catherine) Pierce, Sisters-in-law Louise Pierce and Marian Pierce and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Stan served proudly in the United States Marines from February 1962 through February 1964. Following his Marine service he and Delores lived in Baltimore, MD until 1971 when they returned to Mobile, AL. Stan worked for the Mobile County in the Revenue Commissioners Office until his retirement.
A private funeral for family members only will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
