Stephen Douglas Baggett, born in Fairbanks, AK and current resident of Mobile, AL, passed away unexpectedly September 5, 2017. He was a millwright and member of Millwright & Machinery Erectors Local 1192. He served as an aircraft controller in the US Air Force from 1987 until 2001. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cassie D. and Alfred T. Newell and Cassie L. and Jimmie C. Baggett. His survivors include his wife, Rebecca Baggett of Oceanside, CA; daughters, Sophia Baggett of Bern Switzerland and Desiree Baggett of Dietlikon, Switzerland; his mother, Martha Ann (Mike) Robinson of Mobile, AL; his father, Jimmie D. Baggett of Mobile, AL; his sister, Cynthia (Roy) Lantz of Gulfport. MS; other relatives and friends. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 300 Grant Street, Chickasaw, AL.
