Stephen Earl Taylor
1943-2019

A native of Yreka, CA and resident of Mobile, AL died on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the age of 75. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the United States Navy. He loved camping, hunting and working on cars. He also loved his grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Elwin Taylor and Barbara Lee Pruitt. He is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Rita LaBaron Antoine; son, James E. (Mary Beth) Taylor; grandson, Hudson Taylor; siblings, Brian E. (Diane) Taylor, Boyd A. (Heidi) Taylor, Aleta L. (Michael) Rice and Lance E. Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 9:00 until 10:00 AM followed by Graveside services and interment in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Wounded Warriors Project. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
