March 14, 1942 -February 27, 2020
Steve went to his final home at the age of 77. He worked for
Chicago Bridge and Iron building water towers. He went to college
and worked night shift teaching welding. He graduated with an engineering degree and went to work with Papco Construction where he became a Project Manager. He loved what he did for a living. His goal in life was to learn something new everyday and he pretty much achieved that Goal. He was the smartest person I have ever known. He enjoyed fishing, horse racing and helping others.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Jeannine; the Mother of his children, Martha; Their daughter Sherri, son Mike and daughter Christy. He had one grandson Dallas and one granddaughter Kristen a great grandbaby on the way. He has one brother Doc (Karen); one brother in law, James(Stacey), sister in law, Donna(John) 6 nephews, 3 nieces, seven great nephews and one great niece. Several cousins and many friends; two cat’s, Jersey and TC. He was preceded in death by his parents Marce and Lola, Grandparents, Uncle Frank and Aunt Faye. A special thanks to a nurse at Providence Hospital named Lance. In lieu of flowers Steve would like you to give flowers to someone here where they can enjoy them, do something you enjoyed doing with him but most of all be kind to everyone. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 11am at Christ United Methodist Church on Grelot Rd. Visitation will start at 10am. Burial will be in Pine Crest West Cemetery on Snow Rd., Mobile.
