Steven Shell Grizzle, Sr.
Born September 20,1951 died October 6, 2021.
Steve passed away Wednesday, Oct 6, 2021 surrounded by his wife and children.
He is preceded in death by his father William D. Grizzle, mother Bernice S. Grizzle and sister Sallie G. Wilson.
Survived by his wife of 40 years Rebecca Ingersoll Grizzle, daughter Britney (Blake) Clark and son Steven S. Grizzle, Jr. Three grandchildren William, Kenzie and Jackson Clark.
Brothers, Jerry (Elizabeth) Grizzle, Skip (Linda) Grizzle, Darin (Penny) Grizzle, sister Kittie Grizzle, Brother in law Clyde (Beth) Ingersoll, Sister in law Betty (Mike) Bayse.
A host of nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air force, K-9 handlers 56 SPS in Thailand with his special dog "Snoops". Returning stateside he worked many years in sales and then in the Insurance Adjusting Business where he retired.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, antique auctions and yard sales (to offer his friends a Good Pop Up Sale). Spending time with his family and grandchildren and watching Alabama Football.
Services will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Chapel on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at 12:00 om Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 11:00 am to 12:00 p. with burial at the Veterans National cemetery in Spanish Fort at 2:30 pm with military honors.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Children/Women's Pediatrics, Prodisee Pantry or to First Baptist Church Tillman's Corner Building.
