Steven Waldrop

Steven Darrell Waldrop, 71, of Mobile passed away on September 3, 2024. Steve was born on April 4, 1953 to Jacob Lloyd Waldrop and Frankie Inez Bohannon Waldrop.

Steven attended Baker High School and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1971 until 1973. After serving his country, Steven worked as a truck driver for Dairy Fresh for 24 years and then Southeastern Freight for 5 years before becoming disabled. Steven was a hard worker who provided for his family. Steven was a faithful member of West Mobile Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Frankie Satterfield and sister, Patricia Broadus.

Steven is survived by his wife, Deborah Waldrop of Mobile; daughter, Miranda Waldrop Bradley of Semmes; stepson, Daniel DeLynn Williams of Mobile; grandchildren, Madison Bradley of Mobile, Kyle Bradley currently stationed at USCG Valdez, AK, Trent Bradley of Semmes, Jack Williams of Mobile, Lawson Williams of Mobile.

His family will celebrate his life with a funeral service on Saturday September 7, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. His family will receive friends on the same day beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at Shady Grove Cemetery.
