Our cherished mother, Sue Fisher Isbell Rounsaville, left this life at the age of 77 on February 2, 2022 in Chickasaw, AL. after a long battle with Parkinson's. She was born in Bucksville, AL. to George Herbert Fisher, Sr. and Dollie Brooxie (née Sullivan). She was a faithful servant of God and a minister's wife for many years, serving the church, loving the people, and was also loved by anyone who knew her, especially her family. If you needed a shoulder, she gave you a shoulder. If you needed love, she gave you love. If you needed a great laugh, she'd make the joke about herself just to make you laugh. Sue was a giving person who always put others first even with her worldly possessions; she always gave the best she had to everyone else. She was a brave woman and learned that from watching her amazing mother, who she loved dearly. Although she lost her father at a very young age, she and her siblings talked about him always, calling him Papa. Papa nicked named all of his kids Bet, Bob, Jo, Sue-baby and Fisher-boy. Sue had a large, loving family with 9 brothers and sisters who adored each other and put family first. In Sue's last years on earth, her family considered themselves to all be utterly blessed every single day to have her close and spend time with her. Each new day spent with her was one filled with so much love, so much laughter, so many love-filled moments that are forever imprinted on each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by her parents, father George Herbert Fisher, Sr. (Papa), her mother Dollie Brooxie (née Sullivan) Fisher-Bolton-Tuberville her brothers, George Samuel Fisher and Eddie Ray Bolton. She is survived by her children Steven R. Isbell, Elizabeth A. Isbell, John F. (Stacy) Isbell, esq.., her grandchildren Meghan Isbell, Fisher Isbell and Miller Isbell. Her siblings "Bet" Betty Prim, "Bob" Barbara Peck, "Jo" Eva Jo (Paul) Jenkins, "Fisher-Boy" George H. Fisher, Jr., (Linda) Fisher, Theodore (Debbie) Bolton, Debbie Bolton, Anna Bolton, and multiple nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the extended family members of both the Kichler and the Sosa families. Sue, thank you for being exactly who you were, for loving us well, for laughing with us, for being there for us, and pouring every ounce of goodness you held back into our world. We celebrate the wonderful and beautiful gift of you. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 2pm from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1pm until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
