Susan Delores Dennard Bugg, born in Atlanta, GA, grew up in Murfreesboro, TN and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the age of 90. Susan attended St. Mary's-Notre Dame and graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in History. She was a member of Corpus Christ Catholic Church; served as President of the Ladies' Golf Association at Heron Lakes Country Club; volunteered with the Providence Ladies' Auxillary; was a member of many bridge clubs; enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Edwin Dennard and Louise Spalding Dennard; her husband, Samuel Ray Bugg, Jr.; her son, Michael Dennard Bugg; her sister, Emily SantAmour; and her son-in-law, Feb Bolling. Her survivors include her children, Susan Bugg Robinson, Samuel Ray (Ledra) Bugg, III, Roy Edwin (Ashley) Bugg, Steven Wesley (Dee) Bugg, Richard Brian (Robin) Bugg, Thomas Spalding (Carol) Bugg and Patricia Bolling (Craig) Christensen; 19 grandchildren, Kelly, Kristi, Scooter, Samuel, Kalyn, Elizabeth, Kyle, Kristin, Michael, Wesley, Carolyn, Madison, Logan, Avery, Brian, Drew, Heather, Trey and Emily; 8 great-grandchildren, Parker, Annabel, Anne Davis, Colt, Wyatt, Ryan, Padraig and Frances Grace; Sue Bugg, her former daughter-in-law; her friend and caregiver, Ashley Sayles; nieces, nephews; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Bugg's name may be made to the American Diabetes Asssociation, 12385 Sorrento Road, Suite A-2, Pensacola, FL 32507.
