Susan Fincher

Susan Elaine Grandquest Fincher, age 72, of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.

Mrs. Fincher was a proud member of Overlook Presbyterian Church.  In her spare time, she enjoyed staying at the beach in their camper, being outdoors with family and friends and spending time with her neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hannis Taylor Grandquest and Bessie Oleana Harvey Grandquest; her stepmother, Voncille Grandquest; her brother, Robert Grandquest; and two sisters, Josie Paul Grandquest and Joy Grandquest.

Her survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Bishop Fincher, who was a constant caregiver for many years; two children, Mark (Tracey) and Matt (Shannon) Fincher; five grandchildren, Luke, Allie, Chase, Cole and Autumn Fincher; her brother, Mike (Marwa) Grandquest; sister-in-law, Betty Grandquest; sister, Laura Grandquest; brother-in-law, Roydon (Sherry) Fincher, and their daughter, Amanda Fincher; nephew, Bradley (Marla) and their children, Sophie, Olivia and Michael; niece, Kellie Tarkany (Eddie), and their son, Russ; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 10:00 AM in Magnolia Springs Baptist Church Cemetery on Theodore Dawes Road, Theodore, AL.
