Susan Elaine Steele Herrington

Born January 10,1950 in Bayou La Batre, went to her eternal home surrounded by family and friends January 14, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Aline Steele, sister, Gwendolyn Steele, and in-laws, Newton and Ethel Herrington.

Leaving to cherish her memory, her husband of 39 years, John Herrington, Sr., two daughters, Donna (Kelly) Roberts, Dana (Thomas) Williams, step-daughter, Kim (Charles) Miller, step-son, John Herrington, Jr.,. Grandchildren, Joshua (Danielle) Miller, Christopher (Amelia) Miller, Jonathan Williams, Jansen Williams, Cooper Roberts, Kayley Williams and Kourtney Williams. Great grandchildren, Paxton Miller, Zelda Miller and Bodie Miller. Siblings, Duvall (Tiny) Steele, Jr., Corliss (Doug) Sumrall and Clayton (Priscilla) Steele, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 12 noon. Visitation will be 11am until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
