Sybil Willis Rodgers, born on March 13, 1923 in Coffee County, AL, died on May 30, 2017 in Macon, GA. She was the youngest child of Pitt C. Willis and Bessie Grider Willis. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Oscar Wallin Willis, Annie Merle Willis Traynham and Catherine Willis Ellis; her husband, Leroy Rodgers, Sr., and her middle son, Leroy Rodgers, Jr. Survivors include her eldest son, Dr. William Pitt Rodgers (Carol) of Mobile, AL; her youngest son, Eric Oliver Rodgers, of Warner Robins, GA; her daughter-in-law, Patricia Mansfield Rodgers, of Mobile, AL; her grandchildren, William Pitt Rodgers, Jr., of South Riding, VA, Christopher Willis Rodgers (Susie) of Lanexa, VA and Mary Barclay Rodgers Leskosky (Zachary) of Washington, DC; her great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Wilmer Hall Children's Home, 3211 Old Shell Road, Mobile, AL 36608. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 2, 2017 at 10:00 AM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 9:30 AM until service time. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
