Tamara Joy "TJ" Myers Hearn
Early on the morning of August 3, 2016, after being a true fighting warrior against cancer Mrs.
Tamara Hearn fearlessly surrendered and moved on to walk the streets of gold.
Mrs. Hearn was born on October 24, 1950 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Audie and Roberta
Myers. After moving to Mobile, Alabama in 1958 she attended school in Mobile County. Mrs.
Hearn furthered her education by becoming a nurse and this is where she discovered her
passion for helping others. Over her long career she was employed by Hickory House, Mobile
Infirmary and Saad's Hospice Care. Having always loved flowers and up to her last days
enjoyed sitting for hours admiring her beautiful collection. Mrs. Hearn was an active Church
member and over many years participated in teaching Sunday school, vacation bible school and
was actively involved in recovery outreach programs. She was always considered to be voice of
reason and the person in the group that made sure everyone was taken care of. A devoted
wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother,and loving friend.
Mrs. Hearn is preceded in death by her father Mr. Audie Myers, sister Ms. Helen Rebecca
Myers, Step Son Joseph Edward Hearn and dearest friend Priscillia Sciabarrasi.
Mrs. Hearn is survived by her mother Mrs. Roberta Brantley Myers, her husband of 24 years
Mr. Martin Bruce Hearn, two daughters Mrs. Gina Cumpton ( Mark Cumpton), Mrs. Christina
Nicole "Niki" Hoskins ( Doug Hoskins) two Step children William Nicholas Hearn and Dana
Nichole Hearn, three grandchildren Matthew Kyle Tillman (Courtney ), Taylor Allen Cumpton
(Robin), Alexander Hayden Cumpton (Leonor), three step grandchildren Katlyn Muenchow,
Cory Hunte, Chloe Norman. One great grandchild Brantley Allen Cumpton and a special friend
and sister forever Margaret Alexander.
Services to be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home 640 Three Notch Road Mobile
Alabama Friday August 5, 2016 Visitation at 1pm with Graveside service to follow.
