Theles Woodfin

Theles Sutton Woodfin , 82, of Mobile, Alabama , passed away on
October 26, 2022, in Mobile, Al.

Theles was born in Mobile, Al. to Thelma and Leslie Sutton on
Nov. 11, 1939. Theles Woodfin married Ted Woodfin on February
8, 1964.
She went to school Murphy High and graduated from Auburn
University with a Bachelor's degree in education.
She subsequently attended The University of South Alabama and
obtained her Master's degree in early childhood education.
She worked as a teacher with the Mobile County Public School
System for over 30 years . She was a very active member of St.
Luke's Episcopal Church most of her adult life. After retirement,
she became an active member of the Retired Teachers
Association .
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ted Woodfin.
She is survived by her son, Les Woodfin [Ginny Woodfin] , her
daughter Josie Anderson [Billy Anderson] , her Grandchildren
Carly Woodfin, Hunter Williams, Connor Williams, and Noah
Woodfin.
The pallbearers will be Ben Whittington, Phillip McGuire, Connor
Williams, Noah Woodfin, Blake Donnely and Jesse Blake.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 2,
2022 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church . The graveside burial
service to immediately follow at Mobile Memorial Gardens.
