Mrs. Thelma Pendarvis Snow, left the bounds of this earth at 12:05 pm Saturday afternoon. She cried out to Jesus and he took her home. Born in Orange Grove, Miss. 92 years ago to Hattie Taylor Pendarvis and J. Walter Pendarvis. She had two brothers, Harold Mason and John Walter Pendarvis both deceased and one sister, Roselie Newbill also deceased. She was married to Owen W. Snow (deceased in 1995). Together they owned Snow's Camellia Gardens. They had two sons, SGT. Donald O. Snow (Deceased) and his wife, Jeanette W. Snow of Augusta, Georgia and Larry P Snow (Cynthia Storer) Snow of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Susan Snow Horvath (Jim) of Austin, TX, Donna Hyatt of South Carolina, Christopher Snow of Pensacola, FL, Brandy Hankins (David) of Pensacola, FL, Staci S. Fredricks of San Antonio, TX and Lee Snow of Greenwood, Indiana; four great grandchildren. A Special Thanks to Tim and Belinda Martin of Pensacola who' s home she shared for 15 months and neighbors of Hollinger's Island that helped her. She was a long standing member of Hollinger's Island Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10 AM at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Dr. James Mercer officiating. Visitation will be held 5PM-7PM on Monday evening. Burial was in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
