THELMA MOSS TURNER

Thelma Moss Turner, age 95, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Crowne Healthcare on Navco Road. She was born in Yarbo, AL to the late William and Vironie Moss. Thelma lived in Chickasaw, AL for over 50 years before moving to Mobile in 2005. She was an engineering secretary for several years before deciding to stay at home and take care of the house and her husband. She and her late husband, Waid Butch Turner, loved travelling around the country, especially going to the mountains and taking several cruises. In addition to her husband and parents, Thelma was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, daughter, sister and adored aunt. Survivors include her brother, Willie Moss and his wife, Diana and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Crowne Healthcare on Navco Road and Comfort Care Hospice for the dedicated care they provided Mrs. Thelma.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens with Dr. James Newell officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday. Condolences may be left at www.mobilefuneralservice.com.
