Theresa Hobby

Theresa Evon Meredith Hobby age 64, a native of Saraland, AL and current resident of Stockton, AL passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014. She was a cosmotologist owned and operated Country Class Hair Care and was a member of Gold Leaf Church of God. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Owen Meredith and her brother, Wayne Harris. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Hobby her son, Thomas David Scott her mother, Alice Elizabeth Byrd Harris her brothers, Michael Beverly Harris and Paul Harris her sister, Brenda Jordan her grandchildren, Johannah Scott and Stephen Scott her sistersinlaw, Ann Bobby Hodges and Sarah Ronnie Barnes her grandchildrens mother, Kelly Scott nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was loved and will be sadly and greatly missed by everyone who knew her. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. John Caraway, will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Mrs. Hobbys name to the Mitchell Cancer Institute or The American Cancer Society .
