THERRY HENRY SMITH

Therry Henry Smith, age 93, of Theodore, passed away Monday, October 15, 2018, at home.
Therry was born on October 25, 1924, to Dennis and Annie Smith and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Therry and Inez celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on May 13, 2018. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 108, American Legion, Azalea Ballroom Dance Club and the ROMEO's. Therry received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy on January 8, 1946.
Survivors include his wife, Inez Brim Smith; two children, Michael B. "Mickey" Smith (Mary Anne) and Glynda Smith Mathis (Danny); four grandchildren, Abigail Slaton (Chad), Emily Hornady (Josh), Daniel Mathis and Chad Mathis; four great-grandchildren, Burton Slaton, Louise Slaton, Adelaide Hornady and Jeremiah Mathis.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Kindred Hospice Care and Dr. Martin Lester and staff for the dedicated care given to Therry.
There will be a graveside service held Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
