Thomas Richard Duff, Sr., a native and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the age of 68. He was employed as an engineer for South Central Bell and retired after approximately 40 years of service. Tommy loved the woods and his family and served as a Boy Scout leader and Scoutmaster for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert Duff and Hilda Conway Duff; his wife, Diane Duff and his siblings, Norbert Duff, Jr. and Baby Duff. His survivors include his children, Richard (Mary) Duff, Matthew (Margaret) Duff and Gary Van English, Jr.; two sisters, Mary Riley and Francis (Vincent) Bosarge; five brothers, Robert (Jolean) Duff, Ray (Dee) Duff, Andrew Duff, Lawrence (Joy) Duff, and Patrick (Darlene) Duff; five grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Friday evening, April 29, 2016 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be offered at www.mobilememorialfunerals.com.
