Thomas Gengo

July 1, 1930 — January 19, 2015

Thomas John Gengo, a long-time resident of Mobile/Foley passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Rose Ann, his ten children; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Margaret's of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley for more than 20 years.

Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 1, 1930. After serving six years in the Air Force, he relocated to Mobile where he met the love of his life.

He retired from Eastern Airlines after a 31 year career. He was well-respected in the travel and hospitality field.

He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus having reached the Third Degree. He was also involved in numerous civic and church organizations throughout his lifetime.
Tom will be remembered by those who knew him for loving his family and loving life. He was admired and respected by all.

Visitation will be at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church on Friday, January 23, 2015, from 9am until 10am. Funeral services will follow at 10am at the Church, with interment at Mobile Memorial Gardens in Mobile. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church Building Fund, 601 W. Laurel Avenue, Foley, Alabama 36535.
