Thomas G. King, 76, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away November 13, 2020.
Mr. King enjoyed playing bass guitar. He was active in the local music scene for over 30 years, and spent most weekends "picking around a little" on his '62 Fender Jazz Bass. He loved watching Alabama football, Roll Tide! He also loved Elvis Presley, his dog Betty, and had an endless supply of corny jokes.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, William M. Lisenba and Ethel (Bradford) Lisenba; parents, Audrey (Lisenba) Reece and Gerald Defrazier King; brothers, John A. King and Daniel J. King; sister, Darlean (King) Banks.
He is survived by his beloved longtime partner, Shelby Joyce Greene; children, Autumn (King) Wyatt, Crystal (King) Oglesby, Robin Matthew King; stepchildren, Lori (Greene) Brill and James Greene; grandchildren, Danielle (Blain) Bui, Mason Trip Blain, Willo-Olivia A. Wyatt, Trenton Seth Oglesby, Skylar-Rain W. Worch, David Skowronski, Blakely Brill, Jody Greene; great grandchildren, Luke Brill and Daylon Skowronski; sister, Marian (Reece) Morgan; brother, Mickey Reece; sister-in-law, Kathy Reece; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 9:00am till 10:00am at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 10:00am in the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
