Tommy Eugene Deming, Sr., a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL, went to his Heavenly home Sunday, February 22, 2015, at the age of 80, following a courageous battle with cancer. Tommy was born on June 6, 1934 to Lonnie Albert and Gertrude Cammack Deming. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jane Williams Deming; his sister, Peggy Burdine; his daughters, Janet Deming Davis and her husband, Alex, and Ashley Deming-Waslo, and her husband, Joseph; his sons, Tommy Eugene Deming, Jr. and Lonnie Deming; four grandchildren, Chad Reid, Lacy Reid, Michael Waslo and Benjamin Waslo; other relatives and friends. Tommy graduated from Auburn University. WAR EAGLE!! He retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers as a Civil Engineer. He enjoyed his hobby of researching family geneology. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Spring Hill Baptist Church.
