Travis Edmund Garner, Age 62, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at his home on Dog River. He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Dewey Garner, and his mother, Catherine Lois Garner. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry Chunn Garner; one son, Garrett Garner; three daughters, Lacy Garner, Donna (Buddy Evans) Foster and Stacie (Chris) Taylor; seven grandchildren, Ruby Garner, Chloe Garner, Kaleigh Garner, Caden Taylor, Carolina Grace Taylor, Camden Taylor and Cheri Claire Taylor; two sisters, Tannis (Euby) Sikes of Semmes, AL and Sophia "Tammy" (Danny) Flack of Houston, TX; other relatives and many friends. Travis Edmund was partner in a masonry construction business in Mobile, AL for 30 years with his longtime best friend, Harvey (Darlene) Johnson of Foley, AL whom he considered his brother. A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Mr. Garner's name be made to the American Cancer Society, 900 Western America Drive, Suite 101, Mobile, AL 36609, or your favorite charity.
