Ulyss Lamar Gomillion Sr.
For ninety years, our family was blessed to call Ulyss Lamar Gomillion Sr. a brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was known in Mobile for being a fantastic carpenter. He worked for many years at Ingalls in Pascagoula, MS and then owned his own construction company, Gomillion Bros.
Ulyss passed away in the comfort of his own home on the morning of Friday, August 13, 2021. His love for his family and friends continues to live on through the memories made throughout his long life. He was a great provider and loved the Lord wholeheartedly. One of his most favorite hobbies was fishing near Dauphin Island. Ulyss was a simple man and enjoyed the simple things in life.
