Vada Lee "Dot" Moore Gregory, a native of Louisville, MS and current resident of Theodore, AL in the Belle Fontaine community, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the age of 86 after a valiant battle with cancer. "Granny", as she was affectionately known, will be remembered for her great country meals that she was always preparing for family and friends and always being willing to help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Tyson Moore and Ada Lee Beard Moore; her husband of 65 years, Billie Boyd Gregory; her brothers, John Davis Moore, Dub Moore and Bill Moore; her sister, Daisy Moore Crowell; and her grandson, Joshua Lee Gregory. She is survived by six children, Peggy Adams, Billy (Becky) Gregory, Jimmy (Becki) Gregory, Barbara (Billy) Fesler, Bo Gregory, Robby (Becky) Gregory; eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and many sweet friends. Honorable mention goes to her special friend, Bill Curry, who was faithfully by her side when she went to be with the Lord. The family wishes to especially thank Linda Owens, RN of Gentiva Hospice for her care, comfort and support. The family will receive friends Monday, June 8, 2015 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow Monday at 12:00 Noon.
