BUTTERS
Venie Mae Butters, age 78, of Mobile, Alabama, died March 14, 2017, at home after a brief illness. Visitation will be held for family and friends, Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and funeral services will be held Friday March 17, at noon, at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Mobile with burial to follow.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Daniel Butters and granddaughter, Debbie Ladnier Butters. Survivors include her mother, Allie Mae Henderson; brothers, Jimmy Henderson, John Henderson and Clayton Henderson; children, Daniel Ray Butters (Tamara), Deborah Sue Butters Preuett (Glenn), Darrell Lee Butters (Angela), Daphne Ann Butters Berg (Jimmy), Dennis Jay Butters (Mendy); grandchildren, Danielle Behr, Derek Butters, Dane Butters, Jilleann Butters, Joshua Preuett, Stephen Preuett, Aimee Price, Justin Berg, Jeremy Berg, Jeffrey Berg, Jenna Berg, Austin Butters, Olivia Butters and Aaron Butters; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family members and friends. Venie Mae had a very strong faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. She loved her family with all of her heart. She gave unconditionally to anyone who needed it. She was a strong role model with the Godly attributes of what a mother should be. Pallbearers will be Derek Butters, Dane Butters, Joshua Preuett, Stephen Preuett, Justin Berg, Jeremy Berg, Jeffrey Berg, Austin Butters, and Aaron Butters.
