Vernon Sullivan

Vernon Burns Sullivan, age 71. Born in Portland, Oregon, raised in Bayou La Batre, Alabama and was a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on January 21, 2015. Mr. Sullivan began his career at Chevron in 1963 and retired in 1999. He is the Owner/Broker of Bay Area Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ed and Goldie Sullivan; two brothers, W.E. and Preston; three sisters, Inez, Dot and Doris. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rita Sullivan; three step children; Craig A. (Lauren) Ramsay, Lyman Marion (Brandy) Ramsay, Ginny (Sean) Renfrow; two brothers, Kenneth (Dolores) Sullivan, Elton (Gloria) Sullivan; four granddaughters, Caroline, Elizabeth, Amelia, Alice and five grandsons, Ryan, Lyman Thomas, Will, Jay and Matthew. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday 12 noon until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
