Virginia B. Tice a native of Meridian, MS and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL died on Wednesday at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Tice who was a faithful member of Travis Road Baptist Church for over forty years is survived by her daughters, Nora Kay Smith and Gayla Joy Gardner, sons, Vernon (Andy) Tice, Jr. and wife Kay, Ben Edward (Bo) Tice and wife Selena, James Anthony (Tony) Tice and wife Allison, daughter-in-law, Sharon Tice, brother, Frankie R. Boyette and wife Tommie Jean, sister, Genola Jenkins and husband Sonny, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many other relatives. Mrs. Tice was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Vernon A. Tice, Sr., son, Darrell Alan Tice, parents, Clifton C. and Bertie M. Boyette, sisters, Ethel Boyette, Marguerite Morgan, Merle Nordan, Elizabeth Boyette, Minnie Boyette, Edith White, Erma Jean Gough, brothers, Lester Boyette, Obet Boyette and Clifton Boyette, Jr. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 2pm. Visitation will be Sunday from 4pm to 7pm. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Travis Road Baptist Church, 5226 Travis Rd., Mobile AL 36619.
