Vivian Hopkins

Vivian Wilkins Hopkins 1959-2017 A native of Dumas, AR and resident of Wilmer, AL died on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the age of 58. Mrs. Hopkins loved playing cards and taking care of her grandchildren. She loved her family and Alabama football. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benny Joe Wilkins and Virginia Lee Smith. She is survived by her husband, Michael W. Hopkins, Sr.; four children, James R. (April) Shirah, Shaun D. Shirah, Michael W. (Stephanie) Hopkins, Jr. and Stefani M. Elder; step mother, Melba Wilkins; step father, Joseph E. Smith; sisters, Vanessa (Steve) West, Valerie Smith and Vickie (Donnie) Clark; ten grandchildren. Visitation will be held from Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM followed by funeral services in the Chapel.
