Walter Allen

Walter Allen III, 76, beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 25, 2021. He was born on November 8, 1944 in Mobile, AL to Walter and Bertie Mae Musgrove Allen. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Pat Allen. He is survived by his wife, Lucille W Allen of 56 years, his son, Chris Allen, his daughter, Diana (Troy) Reed, three grandchildren, who were the love of his life, Maria Reed, Nick Reed, and Naith Allen, one brother, Van Allen. Walter served in the Army as an MP at Killeen Base in Texas from 1966-1968. He and his wife founded a successful HVAC company, Air Tec Heating & Cooling of Mobile, Inc. and worked there for 33 years until his retirement in 2014. In his retirement, he enjoyed playing golf with friends, traveling, manicuring his lawn, and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 30, 2021 with visitation at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
